Music from Heaven at 5.15am

Just been listening to some heavenly music from Jeff here - slow, exquisitely sweet, introspective, simple, sensuously caressing, the instrumentation pulled right back to essentials ...

... bliss.

Just thought I'd like to share it before I hit the sack - it's 5.15am!

  1. I grew up with James Taylor , Carly Simon and then the other end of the spectrum "Cream" ,"Strawberry Alarm Clock" and then Motown!!..I love all kinds of music...next week I go see Zeffirelli's production of "Turandot"..I wrote to you saying I was never into ballet and also OPERA!...so if you are at Lincoln Center you must partake of the two....and this will be my first time HEARING this music..I usually listen to anything musical before I go see it..but I am going in "cold turkey"

SO..I do like this Jeff's music..it's pure..just his beautiful voice and that guitar...very 60s...are we all going back instead of forward?? :-)

    Cheers...

  2. hey tony NYC

been to NYC a few times and usually see what's happening at the lincoln centre opera and dance wise when i'm there - really hope you enjoy the Zeffirelli production of 'Turandot' - sometimes cold turkey is the best way, particularly if there's something that you're really going to love - it's great experiencing it with a live audience around you, reacting with you. love to hear how it goes if you have time to comment

as far as the back and forward thing you mentioned goes, i'm wondering if maybe time's not circular?

glad you like jeff's music too - pure is the word - unfussy - ego paired back - just serving the composition - gotta listen to it again - thanks for prompting me!

    cheers, nick
