News Flash 2


Hey again guys.

One obvious solution for getting round the difficulties I'm currently experiencing here is to export the whole blog into the new blog site I set up a while back - 'The New Organ Between My Ears'.

Now, perhaps all my blogs may be experiencing the same problems, springing from the same Google email account, nickwallacesmith@gmail.com.

So to determine whether this is the case or not, would someone mind checking 'The New Organ Between My Ears' (LINK) and saying whether there are two (hot) posts and a sidebar with my profile and pretty much all the stuff here, and whether comments can be posted?

I'd appreciate any help on this - so we can just get right back into it.

And with the expanded storage, big video posts will be back in the agenda!

    Nelo and Andre are there in the new blog. And lots of stuff on the rhs. Your profile, a series of pictures with the painting at the bottom. And I've posted a comment in Nelo.

    Yes I can see everything on the right and the last four posts. I can also see the same on the side bar of the other blog and two posts.

    Here in Wisconsin, USA, I can't see any side stuff on the old blog, but everything appears to be there on the new blog.

    The problem with the old blog seems to be with Aiden's page, where I have the same problems as others. However using the RSS feeds and going into the BelAmi/new format page, it is possible to go into Older Posts (and back and back and back) and, through Newer Post, forward to Aiden Shaw - who then seems to exist in splendid 'isolation'.

    (You may have received a similar message from me elsewhere but it doesn't seem to have resurfaced!)

    i tried to turn the aiden shaw post into a draft and it disappeared - after a message saying there were HTML errors!

    from what you said and your analysis, it seemed that once you got back past the aiden shaw post everything seemed as usual

    so with the removal of that post, maybe the problem is solved

    sorry to keep asking favours but is the blog sorted now?

    Aiden's gone and all seems to be working again!

    What a shame we can't gaze on him now :-(
    (But I did download him, so to speak, and am expressing sorrow on behalf of those who haven't!)
