What Do You Think Of This Format?
So guys, does this new smut post look appeal? At all at all?
Clicking on any small image takes you through to its large counterpart (and the whole set) on ImageBam.
One advantage going this way is that it's easy to scan over a whole range of images and quickly hone in on ones you want to collect.
Maybe this layout every now and then?

ReplyDeleteThe small size isn't good for looking, and the Bam sets require too much scrolling and clicking to look that way.

ReplyDeleteactually i agree - ImageBam is hard work and sometimes you just want to look at a full sized image and move on, no re-direction blah blah
some guys seem to like the format so i'm thinking occasionally for big posts - it might be best in that context

Whatever works best for you, Nick, is probably best for us, your eager followers. However, I must confess that I don't care for ImageBam at all. I've stopped reading several blogs that use it. I find the extra steps required to view each pic makes the process tedious. I dislike having to print all the extraneous ImageBam stuff that surrounds each photo when I want to print a hot pic. I also resent all the pictures of splayed naked women when I am obviously interested in pics of beautiful, hot men!

ReplyDeleteAs for the presentation, I prefer the one which appears in the RSS page, which is rows of pictures and minimal depth and so minimal scrolling. I like Imagebam as a means of presenting the pictures but downloading a large number is tedious (or have I missed out by being too mean to subscribe?!). If you go for this format, will it be possible to get zip files from somewhere? It's much easier/quicker to delete a few from the complete set, rather than download lots of single ones.

i agree with what you say about the difficulties of downloading from ImageBam - and think the format, while interesting in one way, isn't for me because of this
i like to see the picture bigger on the main page and will just continue to do this.
and upload larger sets to hotfile and post the URL link

ReplyDeleteGuess I will put my 2 cents worth and say I actually DESPISE the imageban site. Partly because of the ads they always have, and the occasional pop-ups.
I usually prefer the Blogger/Picasa approach.
But, again, thats just MY 2 cents worth.
Heck, its your blog, whatever is easier for you probably would be best, no?
